At 06.00 AM, Your Guide will pick you up from your hotel and start your tour toward “Abydos” it`s located about 135 km from Luxor Sohag Government, One of the oldest cities of ancient Egypt, The Ancient Egyptians believed That the Lord of the underworld (Osiris ) was buried there, For the Ancient Egyptians, Abydos was one of the holiest sites in the world. As the cult center of the god Osiris and gateway to the underworld and they believed that God Osiris was buried there, it was a popular place of pilgrimage and burial.

The temple was built by King SETI I and completed by King Ramses II, known as the temple of Seti I, The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.

Then continue your trip to visit “Dendera Temple” which is located about 50 KM north of Luxor, It was one of the principal cult centers of the goddess Hathor “Goddess of Joy, Music, and love”, This temple is a Greco Roman temple built upon ruins of an ancient Egyptian one. The temple’s worth a visit as it’s very well preserved, Its ceiling is still intact decorated with majestic scenes of Egyptian zodiac signs, mythical creatures of the afterlife.
