After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel.

Start your private tour by discovering the last remaining ancient wonder of the world : the Pyramids of Giza : Cheops, Mykerinus and Chephren. Learn the history of this miraculous edifices that still keep the mystery of their construction. From the Plateau, enjoy the unique view of the Pyramids emerging from the golden sand of Giza. It’s the moment to take the pictures of your life ! Before leaving the site, let’s greet Abu El Hol, the 3000 years old great Sphinx.

Reach now the second step of your journey : the Pyramid of Saqqara also know as the step Pyramid of Djoser. Here, King Djoser built his tomb more than 4000 years ago. It was the first time in history that the pyramidal shape was used to build the tomb of a kind.

After lunch, finish your day by visiting the Museum of Cairo which contains the most beautiful artifacts of Ancient Egypt, royal mummies and the amazing treasure of King Tutankhamen.
You will be transferred back to your hotel for overnight.

Travel back to time by visiting the medieval district of Cairo. Start your day with the Alabaster mosque. You can’t miss this prodigious building while you are entering Salah El-Din citadel. Indeed, the Ottoman building majestically stands on the summit of the citadel so that you can admire its overlayed domes and great minarets.
Visit now the Hanging church. Hanged above the gate of the old Babylone Fortress, thIis church seeks to be admired. Proceed inside this holy edifice : the whole nave stands on 13 pillars that are considered to symbolise Jesus and his 12 apostles.
Discover the Synagogue that is believed to has been built where Moses was found by Pharaon’s daughter when he was a baby. Ben Ezra synagogue is famous for to its Geniza inside which outdated and holy documents containing the name of God were honorably stored.
Visit one of the most beautiful and impressive historic construction of the Mamluk epoch : Sultan Hassan Mosque.
Stroll along El Moez street and admire the medieval buildings : madrassas (Koran schools), mosques and traditional houses. You will probably find in your way many young Egyptians looking for the perfect selfie. Make your way through the streets of Khan El Khalili. Built in the 14th century this souk is still operating. Spices, gold, soap, handmade souvenirs… you can find almost anything here. Need to go back home with a souvenir : Khan El Khalili is the ideal place for that !
Here ends your amazing tour in Cairo, you will be transferred to Cairo Train Station to take the sleeper train to Aswan.

Your tour guide will pick you up from the train station to take you to the first step of your trip : Philae temple. Enjoy a motorboat ride to reach this temple which is located on Agilika Island. Originally built by Nectanebo I on the Island of Philae, this temple is one of the most important sites of Nubia and was a center of the cult of Isis.

Leave Agilika Island and get to the High Dam. In 1960 the Egyptian government decided to replace the former dam which was not high enough. Built across the Nile, the Hight Dam allows Egyptians to enjoy a permanent agriculture instead of depending on the seasons. The construction of the dam threatened a lot of houses and touristic sites, such as the temple of Abu Simbel which was moved to a higher place.

You will be transferred to your cruise ship to Check in. Enjoy a lunch and spend the nigh on board the cruise ship.

Around 4 am, your guide will pick you up from Aswan at the place you choose. You will be driven during 3 hours by private air-conditioned car to Abu Simbel, 290 km south of Aswan.
The two temples you are about to visit are located on the west bank of Lake Nasser, but this is not there original place. Indeed, in order to save these Ancient treasures from the flood, decision was made to relocate them. Therefore, the temples were entirely dislocated and reassembled in a higher area in 1968. Nubia was a valuable region for Egyptians because of its gold and other precious goods. Hence, Pharaoh Ramesses II decided to build these two massive temples in order to establish his supremacy upon the Nubians. Visit these two masterpieces with your Egyptology guide and discover the history of this place and of the great Pharaoh who build them. You will have plenty of time to take memorable photos.

Here ends your amazing tour at Abu Simbel, you will be transferred to your ship cruise in Aswan.

In the afternoon, sail to Kom Ombo and top over the “double-temple” of Sobek,. This temple is perfectly symmetrical : one half is dedicated to the crocodile dod Sobek and the other to the falcon-headed god Horus. Continue to sail towards Edfu where you will stay overnight.

Around 7 AM, you will be taken by horse drawn carriage to reach Edfu Temple. This temple is one of the best preserved Ancient religious sites of Egypt. The ptolemaic temple was dedicated to the worshiping of the falcon god Horus. Inside the temple the walls are covered by inscriptions that give reliable information on the language, traditions and the cult during the Hellenistic period in Egypt. You can also observe inscriptions and scenes which retrace the story of the conflict between Seth and Horus who was trying to avenge the murder of his father Osiris.

After this stop at Edfu, you will get back to the cruise to sail towards Luxor and stay overnight.

After your breakfast on the cruise ship, start an unforgettable excursion to the West bank of Luxor. Discover first the valley of the Kings, a symbol of pharaohs’ glory. The site contains 63 tombs excavated in the rock of the mountain, the most famous one is that of king Tutankhamun. Venture inside a royal tomb and examine the colored scenes on the walls, these give you insights on the beliefs and funerary rites of Ancient Egyptian. It’s also a great reminder of the prestige and greatness of the pharaohs. Continue your visit with the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Arriving to the site, the impressive cliff will not miss to captivate your eyes. But it’s at the foot of this masterpiece of nature that remains the real wonder : Hatshepsut temple. The external architecture match perfectly with the refined cliff, the building seems to have been sculpted into the rock. Once inside you will notice that many statues and engraving have their face destroyed, your expert guide will explain the strong history behind this.
Reach now the last step of your day : the Colossi of Memnon. Massive, proudly standing, and the gaze fixed toward the Nile, the two colossi of Memnon were the guardians of the vastest and the most sumptuous temple in Egypt : that of Amenhotep.

Reach now the East bank of Luxor and visit its two glorious temples. Start with Karnak : the vastest Ancient temple. It was dedicated to the Theban triad Amun, Mut and their son Khonsu and connected to Luxor Temple by an long alley of sphinxes. During more than 2000 years, about thirty Pharaohs have contributed to the construction of the building, making it unique by its size, its degree of elaboration and the diversity of styles.

End your day with Luxor temple : this is the perfect time to enjoy the splendor of the Ancient architecture highlighted by the shimmering rays of the setting sun. Enter the site facing the immense pylon of Ramses II, his monumental colossi and of course the huge obelisk. Here, for the Feast of Opet, used to take place every year the union of Mut and Amun and the rebirth of their son. This ceremony radiated on the Pharaoh, who could thus renew his power above whole Egypt. The site also hosts a roman chapel and a mosque that you can still admire on the top of the ancient columns of the temple.

After this complete tour in Luxor, you will be escorted to your hotel for overnight in Luxor.
